EMITT (East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition) was held in Istanbul from February 5–7.

The international tourism exhibition, EMITT, has concluded in Istanbul. EMITT is one of the top five largest tourism exhibitions in the world. It brings together travel industry professionals, tour operators, hotels, and national tourism organizations, offering new business opportunities.

In March, the traditional ITB Berlin tourism trade fair will take place.

ITB is the world’s leading B2B platform, bringing together thousands of professionals, hotels, airlines, and tour operators from over 180 countries. The exhibition covers nearly all segments of the tourism industry, including leisure travel and tour operator activities, as well as adventure and educational tourism. In 2026, the event is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Uzbek airline announces new route to Frankfurt.

Qanot Sharq has announced a new route to Germany  March 2026.

Starting March 31, 2026 the Uzbek airline will connect Tashkent with Frankfurt. 

Qanot Sharq plans two weekly flights — on Tuesdays and Fridays — using the Airbus A321.

Vietjet Qazaqstan Airlines is expanding its international flight program.

In response to steady demand, additional flights from Astana to Bishkek and Samarkand will be launched starting in February and March 2026.

From February 7, 2026, VIETJET QAZAQSTAN will increase the frequency of flights on the Astana – Bishkek – Astana route to three times a week. Flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, providing passengers with a convenient weekend travel option.

Starting March 4, 2026, the airline will introduce an additional flight on the Astana – Samarkand – Astana route. A Wednesday flight will be added to the current Friday and Sunday schedule, offering even greater flexibility for trip planning.

Egyptian airline AlMasria Universal began using the Leonardo system

Since December 2022, the Egyptian airline AlMasria Universal has started using  the modern Leonardo PSS inventory system thereby expanding its functionality.

The introduction of the Egyptian air carrier into the inventory system, which was new for them, was carried out by the Sirena team at a high professional level within a strictly planned time frame.

The use of the Leonardo inventory system will allow AlMasria Universal to significantly increase the level of automation of technological processes, expand business opportunities and carry out control and statistical accounting at all stages of organizing air transportation.
